Rail Baltica: opportunities in Europe’s latest megaproject

A two-part series in association with Rail Baltica

ABOUT THE WEBINAR SERIES:

Currently in the advanced design phase, the €5.8bn Rail Baltica project will connect the largest Baltic cities, seaports, and airports with 870km of European standard gauge rail infrastructure, and integrate the region, currently operating on the Russian gauge, with the majority of the EU’s rail network.

This series, organised in association with Rail Baltica, provides an update on the project’s progress, and details procurement plans and opportunities for supplier partnerships. High-level debates explore how Rail Baltica can contribute to regional and European economic recovery after COVID-19, and to longer term global innovation and sustainability priorities.

The audience can hear from key strategists from the Rail Baltica multi-billion project and leading policymakers from international organisations, the rail regulatory, innovation, and supply communities. Organisations represented include the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE), European Commission, the International Union of Railways, The Association of the European Rail Industry (UNIFE), TÜV SÜD, and global consultancy WSP.
